going to look for a spot to camp out of town. something close. I need time to set up the shower tent and take a shower. last geyser shower was 1 week ago. been using the shower wipes a lot. Side note: the wipes are cold, and last night was the first time I was smart enough to use them while having the heater running.
also, I moved the 7gal jug from the rear driver side corner up in the truck bed, up to behind the passenger seat with the other 5gal jug I have. frees up useful space around the fridge cooler in the truck bed.
TMI alert. when sitting on the porta potty in the truck bed, I’m facing the tailgate. I didn’t have a good spot to put my right foot, but now with the jug moved, it’s perfect. A man needs a proper throne, lol.
I’m now putting the collapsible ladder in the water jug spot, but that goes in last when packing up, so there’s free space when nature calls.
Also, when I used the shower wipes last night, I was standing on the cooler and toilet halfway up through a 2x2 opening in the GFC bed. that worked really well. First time doing it that way, better then sitting Indian style in the GFC bed trying to get clean. too much like doing yoga. Cat arch, broken bridge…
Also the heater hose comes through the bottom of the driver side, side tent door. So that put the heater hose right at stomach/chest level while I used the wipes, which was nice. the only downside is I’d need to drape a towel, because I’m at the perfect height to flash people via the rear GFC tailgate window. Now is not the time to say, “it’s the little things” Ha!
