5 apr Tues, McD’s breakfast. 7:30a.m. AZ time
50 years old and
finally figured out the McD’s app and even used Gpay. set it up for
pickup at counter, and other than them being out of OJ, it worked great!
Also,
made me realize how much cheaper it’ll be to make a similar egg
sandwich in my truck. $12? for a egg mcmuffin meal? it’s the end
times!
i think complaining about the price of things officially means I can join AARP now. I belong. Ha!
anyway,
going to go buy a couple boxes of tissues after breakfast. My cold is
gone, but i went through the extra tissues I’d packed.
Should
be a good day. Horseshoe and then Jeff’s decided we’re going to the
southern rim of the Grand Canyon. looks like only a dusting of snow.
we’ll only find out if the overlanding routes are passable by going
there.
I’ve got my Inreach satellite messenger thing Mom, don’t
worry. Only my pride will get hurt if we get stuck somewhere. and
maybe my bank account, but I’ll deserve it if we do something dumb.

my watch didn’t adjust the timezone for some reason. went to bed an hour early and up early for no reason, lol
over at the library waiting for jeff, we agreed on leaving around 9 and it’s only 8 right now.

the walk this morning to see Horseshoe Bend. it was used in a cheesy
disney movie that bombed. forget what it was called. Princess of
Mars? anyway cool to see it in person. [it was John Carter]
